The TopBraid Team
Dear users,
TopQuadrant is pleased to announce a beta release of the TopBraid
Suite 3.4. This release is an exciting milestone for TopQuadrant.
TopBraid Suite 3.4 introduces the TopBraid Enterprise Vocabulary Net
^(TM) (EVN) solution, which builds on the core capabilities of the
TopBraid platform. EVN is an "out of the box", web-based solution
for collaborative development of interconnected controlled
vocabularies. It supports business stakeholders who need to work
together to define and link enterprise vocabularies, taxonomies,
thesauri and ontologies used for information integration,
customization and search.
Additionally, this release offers incremental improvements to all
three previously released products: TopBraid Composer, TopBraid Live,
and TopBraid Ensemble. A key new feature of 3.4 is support for the
change management of RDF data and models through a granular audit
trail of all changes.
For a screenshot tour of EVN, please take a look at
http://www.topquadrant.com/docs/marcom/TopBraid_EVN_Screenshots_Tour.pdf.
For a detailed description of EVN capabilities, see the new TopBraid
EVN User and Reference Guide at
http://topquadrant.com/topbraid/evn/doc/. EVN on runs on the TopBraid
Live Enterprise server. EVN is also being included with the TopBraid
Composer Maestro Edition enabling Composer users to try EVN without
purchasing and installing the enterprise server. We invite you to try
EVN and look forward to your feedback.
