Hello Bob, and welcome! If I understand the situation correctly,
the .oracle connector was created by TopBraid some time in the past.
If you open that file (it is a text file), you will find connection
information to an Oracle 11g schema. This may be the first step to
understanding the error message. It should give you the URI used to
invoke the Oracle model as well as the model name.

For this error message, it appears that the model in Oracle is missing
some of its data, was created with an earlier version of Oracle and/or
Composer, or is otherwise corrupt. One possibility is that the file
was created without base URI data.

So the next step will be to find out what version of Composer and
Oracle 11g you are using. I would also be useful to know more
information on how bfo.oracle was crated - i.e. was it Composer, and
if so what version, etc. Realizing that information may not be
available, any information about the file will be useful for finding
out how the error occurred. Also, when you say "pull a model from
oracle" do you mean opening the .oracle file in Composer, the model is
imported by the file being opened, it is being invoked in a script,
etc. Details will help us get to the bottom of the problem.
