Catrina; Yes the current behavior is the desired behavior.  A timeout will terminate processes, including SPARQLMotion scripts.

Hello,

One of the TBL server configuration parameter settings for a timeout
is the cfg:maxTimePerRequest property. The comment in the config.rdf
file states the following: “Maximum allowed execution time per
request before timing out (in minutes).”.

What is included as the “request”? SPARQLMotion script calls (defined
in SPIN functions to be run as web services) are included, right?

I noticed that in TopBraid 3.3.5, when a timeout occurred, a lengthy
running script would still continue sort of in the background.
However, in TopBraid 3.4.2, when a timeout occurs, the SPARQLMotion
script does NOT continue. Was this a defect fixed in 3.4.2?

I just want to confirm the change in behavior I’m seeing is expected
and the desired behavior.

Thanks,
Catrina
