Thank you, Holger. I think I follow that and can work with it. Really, I just hadn't thought of executing ui:group for side-effects, but that's quite logical now I see it. It's just a shame there's not a function that will simply return the output of a ui:resourceView as text :¬) as I'd be home free. I'll let you know how this turns out.
