Tim,

You could run a query, e.g., SELECT * WHERE {?s ?p ?o} in the SPARQL view,  
then select all (ctrl A ) or some of the triples in the results view, then 
click the graph icon in the toolbar above the results view.  You might want to 
write a query that filters down to the subgraph you are interested in.
