Carol; The Class Axiom section, which contains rdfs:subClassOf,
owl:equivalentClass, and other property definitions, appears by
default for owl:Thing.  However if your model does not import the
standard rdfs and owl definitions, then it may not appear.  Try
creating an ontology in Composer (File > New > RDF/OWL File) to see
how this should look.  Then take a look at our ontology to see what
the issue may be.  If you can send an example, that would be useful.

Also let us know what version of Composer you are using and on which
OS.
