Thank you for catching this, I have now fixed it. It definitely has no
affect on the application (other than the annoyance); it was merely old
code that didn't get pruned during a refactoring of the incoming/outgoing
menus that appear when a node is selected.

The error is simply Flex's version of a null pointer exception, and it
doesn't sound like it is crashing your application; however, I'm sure it
is annoying.
A couple of questions to better diagnose the problem:
What version of TBE/TBC are you using?
How frequently does the error occur?
Can you reliably reproduce it?
