Hi Andriy, I'm not quite sure why this isn't working for you, and I don't believe there is anywhere in TBE that we create an image in the way you have. You can try calling Image.load() (which is what I do) on your image (say in the creationComplete method or your component); at least that way you could add even listeners (Event.COMPLETE and IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR) on the image to check whether it loads correctly.
