Andrea, I'm going to first suggest that you, if you don't already do so, test your TBE plugins using a browser in which you install the debugger version of Flash Player. It is frequently the case with Flash/Flex that errors occur but are only alerted to the user in the debugger version.
As far as #1, I can't really say what's going on there. I know that plugins developed on a Windows machine load fine on a Mac, but I've never tried the other way around. Perhaps there is something about the Flex SDK in Mac that is not compatible in Windows? Could you try building the same plugin (from the same code) on a Windows machine and upload it onto a Mac? That might give us some better clue. As far as #2, theTBE SDK was built with Flex 3.3, and it wasn't until TBE 3.5.2 that we used Flex SDK 3.5. So I would suggest that you first either downgrade your Flex SDK or upgrade to TBS 3.5.2.
