Bruce; There are a few readily available examples you can use to demonstrate building applications using TopBraid. The first is to start TBC-ME and go to http://localhost:808/tbl. Choose the Default Application and open your data. The default application provides a fully editable view of the data. This application can be customized - see the Downloads and More Information sidebars at http://www.topquadrant.com/products/TB_Ensemble.html for more information.
However, this is for localhost viewing only, meaning that to host a server for other users requires TopBraid Live. An example custom application, with server-side scripting that also integrates SPARQL Web Pages (SWP) is also readily available at http://localhost:808/evn. This is the Enterprise Vocabulary Network (EVN). It is a product in its own right that has been built entirely using TopBraid tools - meaning that the primary technology used is RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPIN, and SPARQL with some TQ-specific technologies, SPARQLMotion and SWP, that are based on SPARQL. EVN also adds a workflow concepts for managing changes to the data. EVN may be a tool worth looking into for your application. In terms of running examples, there are a number in use at various organizations. But the data is often of a sensitive nature so it's always difficult for us to provide links. We can also show you some example presentations - contact sa...@topquadrant.com. If anyone on the forum would like to share URLs to their work, we'd appreciate that. You could try data.gov for the data you are looking for. -- Scott On Oct 23, 12:32 pm, Bruce Whealton <brucewheal...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello, > I can envision a use for the full package TBME with the > server for an application that would be of use to a group of > organizations in our community.
