Tim,

I know of no built-in feature that allows this. It should be possible to use
a RESTful call to a SPARQLMotion script with the necessary information to
insert and then have the script insert the appropriate triple. This way, an
external process that knows about the file URL and the resource it was being
associated with could automate the addition of the information.

Subject: [topbraid-users] Strategies for Handling Files in TBL

Hi,

I'm continuously encountering the need to support linking files into
existing ontologies via TBL. The basic use case is a user needs to attach a
file to an instance via a property. We typically use SharePoint for file
storage which does enable URL access. However, it's a two step process for
a user to upload the file to SharePoint and copy/paste the resulting URL
into TBL.

I realize that TBL is not intended to be a content management system,
however, are there recommendations regarding how to deal with files?

I really need to simplify the user experience.

Thanks,

Tim
