TopQuadrant is looking for a senior Java developer with the following skills: . Current experience in at least one of: server, eclipse plugin-development, OSGi, system or library code . Knowledge of Web standards such as HTTP, URI, IRI, and XML . Initiative and motivation. We have a 'light touch' approach to management, being a self-starter is very important . Ability to develop new features and capabilities by building on the existing code base. Commitment to improving code by refactoring as you go - for readability, duplicate code elimination, and improving thread safety . Ability to write and run JUnit tests. (JUnit4 preferred) . Experience working with RDF technologies such as Jena is highly desirable; however, we will train candidates who lack this expertise, but who have deep Java server-side skills . Other desired, but not required skills include: database experience, particularly Oracle, ideally from a Java environment; familiarity with yourkit or JProfiler; performance tuning of server code; J2EE; JavaScript Of course, existing experience with our products is a big plus.
