Some customers have noticed that some of the Java plug-ins were
missing in the recent beta release of 3.6.0. We want to be clear that
we are still planning to support Java extensions and are working on
ways to improve the API, in terms of both stability and features.
Specifically, we will provide two extension points:

1) SPARQL functions (extensions to SPARQL using Jena ARQ extensions)

2) SPARQLMotion modules (Java extensions to the TopQuadrant
SPARQLMotion library)

The extension points and best practices on how to set up a Java
development environment for building such extensions will be
documented fully by the final 3.6.0 release.
