Hi Daniel,

TopBraid used to support the DIG "standard" as an extension mechanism, but DIG
is pretty much a dead technology, limited to OWL and we therefore no longer
support it.

If you want to add a new inference engine, you can easily do this in Java by
adding a SPARQLMotion module similar to sml:ApplyTopSPIN. Then, wrap this into
a SM service that has an owl:Ontology as selected resource argument. This will
make it show up in the Scripts menu for any ontology from where you can execute
it. The script should return RDF, e.g. the newly inferred triples and they will
then be displayed similar to how the Inferences are being displayed. You can
even chain together multiple inference engines this way, using SPARQLMotion.

I can provide details if you want to go down this route. Please clarify what
kind of inference engine you intend to add.

Thanks,
Holger
