Hello TBC team, we are trying to run tb live components, which used to work with version 3.5.4, in new 3.6, but have no success. Complete clearing and reinstall do nothing, also test components, shipped with tbe sdk, dont work. We are using Windows XP + Firefox 12 / IE 8.
We've tried following steps: 1. Deleting TBC ME 3.5.4: a) Delete folder with TBC in C:\programms\ b) Delete all folders in C:\Dokuments and Settings\<username>\.eclipse\ c) Delete all folders in the workspace d) Clear Cash & Cookies in browser e) Clear Cash & Cookies in flash plug-in 2. Installing TBC ME 3.6: a) running tbcme-win32.win32.x86-3.6.0.v20120419-1246R.exe as admin 3. prepare ensemble-plugin-example-helloworld a) running tbc for the first time b) download the ensemble SDK, opening ensemble-plugin-example-helloworld and compilig it with flex_sdk_3.6.0.16995 c) uploading of the new component to server over http://localhost:8083/tbl/registerPlugin d) restarting TBC ME --> now the folder <workspace>/server.topbraidlive.org/dynamic/components contains plugin-example.rdf + swf 4. testing ensemble-plugin-example-helloworld a) go to http://localhost:8083/tbl/app/server.topbraidlive.org/applications/Default%20Application%20%28configurable%29.ttl/-/TopBraid/Examples/kennedys.ttl# b) click "+" --> "Add components" --> "Simple Example Control" But no component is added to the view. Configuration (F2) shows under components the "ControlComponent" (which is actually the added example component), its label and comment are empty. Defining label doesn't change anything. Is there any workaround?
