Stephane; Not sure where you came to those conclusions, but TopBraid Suite fully RDF-compatible.  This means that OWL 2 punning is supported.

SPIN, which is a rule language based on SPARQL has very different use cases than OWL DL.  One can create fully compatible OWL-DL models in Composer.

Hi.

I looked at this mailing list about the punning subject. Based on what I understood for the various answers, OWL2 punning as described in W3C specification is not supported in Topbraid. What is the status of this support ? Is it going to be supported in the future ? I had many use cases where punning was very useful for modeling some domains. I would like to know what is the rational for the lack of support of punning and what are the works around you suggest and why is it better than punning ? SPIN does not seems to use punning but uses OWL full.  Would punning not be a better solution to keep SPIN in OWL-DL ?

Thanks
