Hi Adia,
TBC will use a file:/... base URI if it cannot figure out a more
meaningful URI. This is the case if the file neither contains an
owl:Ontology instance nor an xml:base. Note that TBC cannot know from
where you downloaded the file, so it needs to make some guess.
To overcome this, use File > Import > TopBraid > Import RDF or OWL File
from the Web, which will create a new copy with the "correct" metadata.
Alternatively, use File > Export > TopBraid > Export/Merge/Convert RDF
Graph with your RDF file already open.
You may want to switch to Turtle notation at this opportunity.

Hi
I have persists a problem of an ontology that i download from the
internet. The problem that i encountered is that once i open the file
it keep referring to this address as it's base URI:
file:/C:/Users/Adia.delailah/TBC-workspace/TopBraid/Baru/po_2.rdf
file.I already tried to change it to more standard way of naming the
uri such as" http://www.purl.com/dc/" .After I saved , closed and
reopened again, the problem still exist.I hope that any of you can
give me suggestion on how to overcome this problem..Thanks. :)
