I will put this on our list, although I am afraid it will be of low
priority because you can simply replace the version in your own copy
yourself. Furthermore I am not convinced that FOAF is still being used
much, as most of its features are also present in schema.org

Official FOAF 2010 includes a few tweaks, and one new property
foaf:focus.
