I did not realize that my swa:autoComplete was working on every class. 
Reading the documentation helped a bit. I changed it to work on just the 
classes in the tree, for which there are only xsd:strings in the 
rdfs:labels. The original error went away, to be replaced by another, so I 
just cut the autoComplete out.
