For those interested in SPIN evolving into a W3C standard, the RDF Data Shapes working group has started a few weeks ago, and it is still open to new participants:

We definitely welcome any help we can get to promote the benefits of this technology, and make sure that our use cases get addressed by the working group. Feel free to contact me directly if you are interested and need background information.

Thanks
Holger
