Torbjørn; There
aren't any requirements beyond the link sent earlier. Perhaps you
could share the web.xml file offline, along with the specific
calls you have tried, perhaps to [email protected]?

Hi again,
Thank you
for the answers.
We tried
sending requests to the TBL EVN server with Basic
Authentication containing the
username and password to our TBL EVN server. The server
returned STATUS 200 OK,
but the response we retrieved was the EVN login page. We
have made sure that
the username and password is correct. We also tried
form-authentication,
but with no luck there as well. Just for the record, we have
set up users correctly
in Tomcat, and login works just as expected when we manually
login to our TBL
EVN server from the web browser interface.
Do we have
to configure anything on the server in order to make such
requests to the TBL
EVN server?
Best
regards,
Torbjørn

Torbjørn;
In addition, there are methods for invoking Web services,
including the SPARQL Endpoint with authentication. See
http://www.topquadrant.com/docs/tbl/TBLAdminGuide/index.html#tbladmindoc_AuthenticatingServiceCalls
for some details.
Let us know if that is helpful to you and if there are
further questions.

Hello Torbjørn ,
EVN can be setup without authentication support.
Please refer to the installation instructions here -
Also please check if the query is working on the
EVN endpoint. You can do this by executing a SPARQL
query against the endpoint, sending the request
through the browser. For more details please see -

Hi,
I would like to submit queries to the
Sparql-endpoint of my TBL EVN server from an
external source. I have tried using queries based on
the documentation found at http://download.topquadrant.com/evn/45doc/adminguide.html#evnendpoint.
However, when I submit my query I only receive error
messages, saying that it failed to retrieve query
results and similar (depending on where i query
from).
I suspect the problems may be related to
authentication to the server. Is there a way I could
include this in the sparql-queries? Or is there some
way i can configure the Sparql end-point so that i
could access it externally?
