Right, I will only expose stuff to others via EVN/EDG so especially here its
most relevant. Will try combi like own root and select this one in evn.
Still a similar flexible option in tbc would be nice too…

For EVN/EDG Ontology projects, you can select any root class. But it seems you
are talking about TBC now? This wasn't clear. In TBC, owl:Thing and
rdfs:Resource are the only options.

Suppose i invent myroot class under owl thing. Can i make that the rootclass
then?.i only saw 'make owl thing' top of the tree...
I will also investigate cloning really needed items from qudt iso importing the
full thing....also might save some unwanted generic relations...

The web Ontology editor does not have a built-in filter to suppress certain
classes. As a work-around, you could move the classes that you want under a
common super class and have the tree start there.

Is there some way to hide imported classes/properties in tbc/edg already?
I saw

(grouping is not the solution because you loose the tree)

Hiding system classes and starting from owl:Thing helps a bit but I do not want
to have all the qudt stuff (and deeper vaem/prov/dtype stuff in my view…)

Thx Michel
