Dear Users, TopQuadrant is pleased to announce the release of TopBraid 7.0!
This new release delivers a modernized architecture and deployment process. It also offers a way to directly edit files using the EDG UI, a number of improvements to ontology development, editing of data, and better support for localization and other capabilities. A new browser plugin for Chrome is being offered in this release with the goal to enable semantically enriched web browsing. Other new features and enhancements include: - A simplified installation process supporting both an interactive UI and scripted deployment - Ability to make updates across multiple asset collections - A new power user role that allows for separation of control for administrative features - Improvements to creating and using workflows - Modernized architecture, including the ability to deploy TopBraid EDG on Tomcat 9 in addition to the previously supported Tomcat 8.5 via the removal of the Equinox dependency - Active data shapes as a fully supported option for defining server-side scripts and customizations in Javascript - Upgrades to Javascript support and other library updates These and other new features are described in more detail in the release notes <https://www.topquadrant.com/release-notes-topbraid-7-0/> and corresponding change log <https://www.topquadrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/TopBraid-Suite-Change-log7.0.txt>.
