Our practice here has been to semi-annually re-create a large TDB with
some reference data in it (from the UMLS) using TopBraid Composer, and
then to deploy a zipped version of that TDB (700 MB) to EDG using
Upload Projects.
I haven't found an "Import RDF Files into new TDB" option in Studio.
Now that I'm doing all my development work in EDG Studio instead of
TBC, can you give me some ideas about best practices for creating and
deploying large TDBs using the new tool? Or should we be doing this
some other way entirely, besides creating a TDB?
I have tried simply creating an EDG asset collection (data graph) and
then importing the 9 individual TTL graphs I want in the TDB, but this
always seems to hang at the "writing" step when I import the largest
of the files, which is 1.5 GB. Thoughts?
The latter SHOULD work, but you need to make sure to use the direct
streaming loader for those files:
What process have you tried so far?
