I'm sorry.... but like the subject says....

the session management of cookies for browsers while using EDG studio is
busted :( it is so so frustrating.

Our whole dev team is constantly fighting user licence exceeded messages
while using edg studio and it is SEVERELY impacting efficiency! it needs
fixing ASAP

Also..... the mechanism of EDG that overwrites changes on local disk with
the copy of a file from the triple store version (without any prompting)
of a file is also busted! This also makes edg studio VERY ineffective for
serious code dev. It is just oh so easy to overwrite local edits that are
entirely unrecoverable. We all often loose changes made.

If the git sync function worked well it may be less of an issue... but this
is sadly another issue that does not give good control over production
code. It is almost not worth being there.

Using TBCME was SO much more stable for serious development and the
benefits of a stand-alone EDG server are far outwayed by the many steps
backwards in loss of TBCME functionally and stability of code editing .
Both EDG and TBCME should be on the roadmap :(

I say this with much empathy, understanding and positive sentiment about
the new capability since edg 6 and 7, but with a great deal of frustration
of the current impediments that our whole team experience for our large
scale project.

Cheers

Simon
