Hi,

The topcased version is 1.0.0.. the eclipse version, 1.1.0. I’m currently
working in a sysml diagram

I haven’t changed the name (as far as I can remember). However, I think I
found a hypothesis for what may has happened: changing the bounds of a block
in a diagram I dropped the block by mistake out of the margin limits. The
connectors linked to that block indicated it ‘was’ still there but really
out of the margins suddenly disappearing, unable to find the block and place
it back in the diagram. I choose just deleting connectors from the diagram.
Next work session in Topcased the Error “unable to open editor” appeared,
what makes me think was caused by the inconsistency of the diagram.

Anyway, I had a backup copy of the project and the problem has not been more
than remaking the diagram. However, I am your disposal to discuss more about
that in order to find an explanation to avoid further problems

Can you tell us more about your current configuration ? Which
Eclipse/Topcased version are you using ? Are you working on a UML diagram ?
Did you change the *.uml model file independently (using the tree structure
editor) ?

Hi all,

Just opening TopCased I received the next message:

Error: Unable to open Editor, check input model

Last time working with the model no problems occurred, no errors were
notified, no changes were applied to the model (only I have access to the
model).

No other paths appear in the ‘switch workspace’ function (usually do) when
trying to switch workspace towards the backup version.

Since topcased is unable to open Editor, no diagrams appear in the Outline
view

The documentation added to the items (ports, blocks, …) appears in a kind of
card symbol, unable to be modified, instead of the ‘diamond’ symbol.

Has anyone found himself in such situation or does anyone guess the source
of the problem?

Sorry for a basic question,

Eduard Diez-Lledo
