Hi Sylvain

Another possibility is MDWorkbench (http://www.mdworkbench.com). I used
it to transform UML models into VHDL. It’s completely metamodel-driven
and query and template language is very powerful. MDW provides several
metamodels.

There is even a free version available.

Best Regards

Hi,
I have not received any answers yet to my previous mail with the same
subject.

It may due to the holliday season, but I rather think it is the
penalty
for me not being clear enough. So I will try to reformulate my
question
in a more mundane way.

Basically, I am seeking advices on the easiest way to implement a
SysML
Model to a textual language. In this case the target would be the
Alloy
specification language, 'cause I think it would be great to be able to
simulate/check/validate a system model and Alloy is IMHO a good fit
for
that.

I have not much time to invest in this project and I would use
transformation rules already researched by another project
(UML2Alloy),
so it all boils down to be able to be as "productive" to implement as
possible.

I figured I could seek some advices on this list. After all, TOPCASED
has already transformations implemented for textual languages and I
would be interested to enquire which framework was used and if it
could
be recommanded to newbees like me. It is not that I didn't find
solutions, I am overwhelmed by the number of solutions, but there
seems
not to have a clear winner in the domain of usability.

It may very well that this list is not the place to ask: what would
you
suggest instead ?

Hope it is clearer now,
Thanks in advance
Sylvain
