The cookbook has been made for TOPCASED 1.2 release and is now a little
bit out of date.
Please consider using the TOPCASED 2.0 tutorial in the GForge TOPCASED
Documentation (Communication tab) here :

This tutorial should be referenced from the official site instead of
the old Cookbook but I could not find the way to do it... ;-)

I simply downloaded the last RCP bundles archive and it works fine.
Initially, I was trying to get Topcased packages separatly using links

Unfortunately the forge
page pointed out by the "Topcased Modelling Tools" entry refers to a
previous delivery (2.0.0M4).

For your Topcased installation, you need to check if the prerequisites
are installed too. These are available in the release note:

You can check the installed features throw this menu:
Help > About Eclipse Platform > Features Details
If they are all installed and you still have the problem, I advise you
to install the 2.1.0 version of the toolkit to be consistent with the
modeler.

I am experiencing difficulties to create a UML model with Topcased. I
followed the steps presented in the cookbook using "common approach"
template but nothing happens once I click on "Finish" button.
Prior to that I have installed the following packages on my PC (windows
XP):
- Eclipse 3.4.1
- org.topcased.toolkit-2.0.0M4-200801181149.zip
- org.topcased.modeler.uml-2.1.0.zip
I guess that I probably missed something in the installation
phase
(additional plug-in to load ?). I looked at the installation guide but
it seems to be not suitable for the Topcased 2.0.
