Hi,

the Ecore Editor of Topcased had been merged into the Eclipse Ecore Tools project as part of the Eclipse Modeling Framework Technology (EMFT), where it reads:
This component comes from an initial contribution based on the Ecore graphical editor developed by Anyware Technologies as part of the Topcased project. The initial committers are: David Sciamma (lead), Gilles Cannenterre and Jacques Lescot.
Maybe you should better give that one a try, as the Ecore Editor as part of Topcased is likely to be discontinued, as far as I know.

Regards,
Jörg

Hi,

I am learning how to use Topcased to draw ecore models. Since the final model I have to draw is quite complex, I am trying to figure out how to control the drawing on a simple model. especially, how to control the drawing of associations (I have lots of them).

I am trying to reproduce the example given in the page http://topcased-mm.gforge.enseeiht.fr/website/modeling/ecore/documentation.html. I have been able to reproduce most of it, but no matter what I try, I just cannot get the "husband" link from Wedding to Man to come off the right of the Wedding object, as it is on that page: it always overlaps the "wife" link from Wedding to Woman (see attached image).

Since I expect to have some objects from which many links will be originated, is there a way to control where the anchor point is on the originating object while using the Rectilinear router? It seems that one can control the anchor point on the target object, but not the originating one: is that really so?

I use Topcased 1.4.0.v200806021127 with eclipse Europa.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Andrea
