Dear Topcased users,

I am relatively new in SysML but particularly a noob in model
transformation.
I am trying to get a Topcased SysML model and transform it to a different
domain. I am using the Eclipse (Galileo 3.5) environment and the ATL
language to perform the transformation. I have developed (still developing)
a target domain metamodel in Ecore.
I have recently upgraded to Topcased 3.0 SysML editor.

My main question is regarding the Topcased SysML metamodel. I have found the
Topcased SysML metamodels at this site (
http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/scm/viewvc.php/plugins/org.topcased.sysml/model/?root=topcased-sysml)
but having difficulty which is which and whether any of them is dated.
I tried to use "sysML.ecore" but emf parser is raising an exception such
that it cannot validate the sysml model using the "sysml.ecore" metamodel. I
don't know whether this is because of compatibility issues between different
versions that I am using (sysMl.ecore is updated a year ago).

I tried to understand what
"SYSML.metamodel.uml<http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/scm/viewvc.php/plugins/org.topcased.sysml/model/SYSML.metamodel.uml?root=topcased-sysml&view=log>"
(it is updated 5 weeks ago so it seems up to date) is but so far I am not
successful using it as a metamodel. Does anyone know the standard it is
using?

I am a little bit frustrated at the moment and I would appreciate any help
or directions on this (I don't necessarily need to use ATL or Ecore if there
are alternative ways that you can suggest).

My apologies if this topic is addressed at the wrong forum ( I have seen one
thread regarding topcased SysML metamodel in the archives of this forum and
that is why I am posting here).

thanks,

Volkan Ustun
