We will check if it works on our configurations

I don't think that they have anything to do with Topcased though. I get a a lot of errors when I try to Validate the gendoc file. For every heading in my template I get "The required feature 'parentChapter' of 'Chapter chapterNameHere' must be set". If I go through and manually set each parentChapter it fixes the errors but doesn't seem to make any difference to the final output. Could it have something to do with the chapters in my template document? I tried creating a blank template document with just the tags but still it didn't work. It did, however, remove the tags from the generated output.

    Hi Jason,
    do you have any log file in your workspace ?
    or can you check your error log view (Window>Show view > Error
    Log) and sending us traces for gendoc componenent ?

    Hi,

    I have been trying out the new GenDoc features of Topcased 3.1.0
    and I am still having trouble getting the template to generate
    properly. I insert the tags by copy-pasting from notepad and
    when I import the template all of the Properties seem to fill out
    properly. It recognizes Id, Data Source, Generation Type, Root
    Container and Container. The gendoc file finds my chapters and
    assigns "Model Generated Fragment" items. When I click "Generate
    Document" it generates the images (in the folder ImagesGendoc)
    and the "Operation in progress" dialog is visible. Upon
    completion the generated output still contains the tags and
    nothing from the model. Here are the tags that I am using:

    Data source:
    <gendoc:registerModelDataSource name='theModel'
    modelPath='platform:/resource/theModel/Models/theModel.sysml'
    validate=''/>

    Fragment 1:

    <gendoc:generatedFragment name='Reqirements'
    template='display_documentation' model='theModel'
    container='theModel::Stakeholder Requirements
    Analysis::Requirements'/>

    Fragment 2:

    <gendoc:generatedFragment name='RequirementDiagram'
    template='display_diagram' model='theModel'
    container='theModel::Stakeholder Requirements
    Analysis::Requirements'/>

    Does anyone know why my content and images are not in the output
    file? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Jason Leppin
