Hi Chris,

There are two solutions for your needs:
If we take the example of model below:

Package Pack1
    UseCase UC1
        requirement req1
        requirement req2
    UseCase UC2
        requirement req3
        requirement req4
  • First solution
You can use the template "diagrams_documentation_requirements" (org.topcased.gendoc.template.requirements).
Select Pack1 as container, the generated document will contain:
- the diagrams of Pack1
- Documentation of diagram
- Name and documentation of all the elements in the diagram (UC1 & UC2 in the example)
- Requirements (and attributes) associated with elements in the diagram
  • Second solution
You can also use elements_requirements template with Pack1 as container.
This one displays children name and associated requirements.
Diagram is not generated but you don't have documentation of use case here.

About your question:
Moreover, can I extract attributes of the requirements as attributes are
spécified in the import phasis of requirements document without scripting a
template ?
Yes. When a template generates requirements, the attributes are also displayed in the generated document

Hope it helps,

regards,

Emilien

Hello,

I m in trouble with the extraction of requirements relatively to a
particular element.
I have a uml model with its umldi and a .requirement model.

I want to document my model as :
- use case 1
  documentation of use case 1
requirements list of use case 1
	req 1 : documentation of req 1
	req 2 : documentation of req 2
- use case 2
  documentation of use case 2
requirements list of use case 2
	req 1 : documentation of req 3
	req 2 : documentation of req 4
As my loop concerns uml use cases in the UML model, can I use the
elements_requirements, or any else, fragment in the context of this use case
loop to extract the requirements linked with my element ?

Moreover, can I extract attributes of the requirements as attributes are
spécified in the import phasis of requirements document without scripting a
template ?

Does a simple way exists for that ?

Thanks for answer
Chris
