Hi,

can someone please enlighten me how to create a FSM inside a class?

Shall I create and use an "input pin" under an activity or just fill in the
"specification" field of the activity when I use an operation of the context
classifier (containing class)?

I really tried to understand FSM modeling for days but could only generate
code with the latter way, but only with warnings:
"Behavioral feature
'org.eclipse.uml2.uml.internal.impl.activityi...@10110bf{platform:/resource/
CDPlayer/Models/CDPlayer.uml#_prt14CBQEd-KUKrAQBbfRw}' must be a feature of
the context classifier of the behavior."

Thank you!
Christian

Subject: Re: [Topcased-users] Statemachine code generation: Target problem

Hi,

I still have problems with my statemachine code generation:

It seems that I don't need to set the "input pin" and "call behavious
action" when the FSM is inside a class. Then the context classifier is that
class and I just need to set in the behavior of a state's "activity" in
"Advanced"-tab the property "specification" to an operation of the context
classifier. Is this true?

But now I get such warnings for every "activity" element:
"Behavioral feature '...activityImpl...' must be a feature of the context
classifier of the behavior."

Is this OK (can I just ignore it?) and how can I solve this warning?

Thank you

Christian
