Hello everyone, I am attempting to build a bundle based installation of Topcased 3.3.0 by pulling in the SDK and Toolkit zip files from gforge, and placing those features/bundles into an Eclipse configuration that I compose from scratch. I am having a very difficult time building a working configuration... I suspect that there may some inaccuracies in the install guide and elsewhere. For example:
1) The install guide suggests an Eclipse v3.5.x based install, but most of subsequent entries call for Eclipse v3.4.x based plug-ins (such as GEF v3.4.x, EMFv2.4.x, etc.). 2) The install guide states that Acceleo is only required for experimental features, however there are Acceleo dependency entries in the org.topcased.ocl_3.3.0v201003091128.jar feature definition that is included in org.topcased.toolkit-3.3.0.zip. 3) Stated link to smartqvt, http://smartqvt.elibel.tm.fr/download.html, appears to be unreachable to me (continually get "gateway timeouts"). I think their Eclipse Update site might have changed as well. 4) eclipse/features/org.topcased.toolkit_3.3.0v201003091128/feature.xml seems to still refer to old update sites (Topcased "update-site3.4", and "download.eclipse.org.releases/Ganymede"). 5) eclipse/features/org.topcased.sam_3.3.0.v201003091128/feature.xml calls out a dependency on "org.eclipse.eclipsemonkey". This dependency is not itemized in the Install guide... also, the Eclipse Monkey software doesn't seem to be available any longer at Eclipse.org (a retired project perhaps? Where did the Topcased team obtain it?). 6) Others I haven't found???? Has anyone managed to compose a from-scratch configuration into which org.topcased.toolkit-3.3.0.zip and org.topcased.sdk-3.3.0.zip can be extracted to and have Topcased successfully execute? I would appreciate any help on this; many thanks, -Pete _______________________________________________ Topcased-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gforge.enseeiht.fr/mailman/listinfo/topcased-users
