I've been working on build automation for my work and school. I use
Trac/Bitten and Buckminster to check out and build an update site every
time someone makes a commit to the repository. If you're interested, I'd
be happy to point you to what I have done.

Hi guys !

In fact, the packaging of Topcased needs a serious rework : some features
seems to be broken, night builds are not automated, the RCP is not a real
RCP, packages are not signed, etc. We are currently organizing a task
force to face those issues.

So please do not hesitate to report this kind of anomalies (and of course
patchs if possible ;-) on the trackers: it will help us to improve quicker
the situation.

Pierre

Hi James and Cyril,

Thanks for your feedback. It sounds like the SDK feature needs to be
updated to require the acceleo package (or the updatesite needs to have a
discovery entry pointing to where the acceleo package lives). I'll install
that and try again...

Thanks!

Hi,

I also had this issue. There certainly seems to be an issue with the
update site installation. I tried and failed with a clean install of
Helios. Perhaps the developers can shed some light on the situation...?

My resolution: I downloaded the Topcased-RCP-win32-4.0.0.zip from here:
http://www.topcased.org/index.php?idd_projet_pere=52&Itemid=60, extracted
it, closed my Eclipse instance and copied the acceleo files and folders
(can't remember if it was both files and folders, but anything with
acceleo in the name) from the plugins folder to my Eclipse plugins folder.
I then fired up Eclipse and re-ran the update site
http://topcased-mm.gforge.enseeiht.fr/release/update-site3.6/

Hope this helps.

James
