As we just ran into the problem again (and ended up finding our own mesage,
I'm having a second try]
Hi all,
AFAIS, the current topcased documentation does not mention what the semantics
are of the "blue arrow" element on diagrams.
- It seems to me that an element is displayed with a green arrow if there is a
diagram "associated with" the current diagram. The documentation mentions this
as a subdiagram
- The blue arrow is far more interesting. It provides a very _intuitive_ level
of indirect redirection for certain "indirect" relations for which I know no
formal terminology (I am not a UML/SysML specialist)
* In the case of a call behaviour action, a blue arrow is shown if
there is a subdiagram under the behavioral classifier element and clicking on
the item will bring you to this subdiagram.
* In the case of a property, a blue arrow is show if there is a
subdiagram under the element that "types" the property.
* I guess once instances will be available, one could add something
similar for instances...
Questions:
- Shouldn't the blue arrow semantics be mentioned in the quick start
documentation (my statement above can be considered as copyleft ;-)?
- Somehow, in the html documentation generation, the blue links work fine for
call behaviour actions, but not for properties on an IBD. I verified this with
the SysML watch example. Is this a(n easy to fix) bug?
TIA,
Klaas
