Hi Tristan,

I had to move from 4.1.0 to 4.3.0 to get the "import by reference" feature.

It looks fine and does what we need to structure the hierarchy of our model.

1/ But a good improvement would be to display on the package instantiated at
top level the true umldi of the "linked" (imported by reference) model: having
a rebuilt one is not user friendly.

2/ Trying to reduce (by stretching) the size of the class diagram displayed on
the package (A0 format is too small otherwise...), the classes were correctly
hidden at the top-level, but not the associations, which remains visible on the
top class diagram: looks like a real bug. A real "scaling" of the umldi would
be great.

3/ It would be great also to be able to have the choice between displaying on
such (imported by ref model) package:

- Either the related scalable umldi

- Or an image (imported jpeg or whatever): it may sometimes better reflect
its use than a downsized diagram

Regards,

Flavien

Hi,

You use case is :

>From umlTOP.umldi access to a uml1.umldi ?

I don't really see how it is possible to do this with TOPCASED :/

You can link your uml1.uml with your umlTOP using import by reference (import
model, check import by reference), but you will lose your link with uml1.umldi
