First of all, thanks for your reply.
But when I tried to add a stereotype for my State Machine, I couldn't see it in
the Stereotypes property of my State. In fact, my stereotype extends from
metaclass State (I tried with metaclass State Machine, but same result).
Although it did work with a Class diagram, but I can not link the AUI model to
a class diagram

Here some explanations about Abstract User Interface editor :
You can create an AUI model with TOPCASED, as you do for an UML model, and then
link it with a state in UML.
You can use the state machine diagram to design the screen navigation of your
system. States are identified as screens in this case (via stereotype for
example).
The idea is to describe the screen content with an AUI diagram and create the
link between the screen (the state) and the AUI diagram.
AUI allows you to design screen content in an abstract way, you don’t use it to
do a mock-up with technology or layout aspects.
You can find in attached file a tutorial that explains how to link AUI models
with UML.

I am new to TopCased and particularly interested in TOPCASED Abstract User
Interface. All information I could find about this functionnality via the

When modelling with Topcased State Machine, I saw an option via the contextual
menu of a state which is "Abstract User Interface" along with its 3 sub items:
"Open referenced AUI diagram", "Edit referenced AUI diagram" and "Reference an
abstract container".
I really want to know more about how such a diagram can actually be used in
Topcased State Machine, and what is the advantage of this kind of diagram,
please.
