I have noticed that VHDL tools (editor and checker) don't get installed as they
are not part of the Topcased toolkit 4.x..
I have noticed that Topcased v 3.4.1 is the last version that contains the VHDL
tools (2.5).

I tried to search the through the documentation but I did not find anything. Is
there a reason for that? Or am doing something wrong during installation and I
don't get the VHDL tools installed? If it is truly not part of the installation
is there a plan to bring it back later in 5.x?

In my case because I need it I worked around it by extracting the 2 VHDL
plugins
(.jar) from the 3.4.1 archive
(org.topcased.experimental-3.4.1-201006141752.zip)
and copying them into my eclipse\dropins folder. If anyone has a better way
please let me know.

I am asking because initially when I got interested in Topcased the HDL was one
of the main tools I have used, and I think it is still a key tool for safety
and
mission critical complex systems development.
 Regards,
Peter
