Hy,

I tried too and as Gajendra, I did not find how to display a specification property : is it a bug ? If yes , is it opened ?

But I have a more simple question (maybe)

When using topcased I create an artifact or a deployment specification, is it a class or an instance ? According to figure 10.11 of superstructuure file, I think that it is a class, so how to create an instance of deployment specification ?

Again according to figure 10.11 the name of the deployment specification as to be underline if it is an instance.

PS :I join the extract of superstructure file with the figure 10.11

Subject: [Topcased-users] Showing property on a Deployment Specification

Hi Michael,

I tried to do this in Topcased 5.1 and I found the following.

1. The properties deploymentLocation and executionLocation can be accessed through the tab "Properties->Advanced: Deployment Location" and "Properties->Advanced: Execution Location". They are stacked in the same tab. You can click in the "Value" column and set the values for each of them.

2. There is no way of displaying these properties on the diagram. I checked through Graphics option in Properties tab and also Preference editing window but there are no options available for displaying properties on Deployment Specification. As of now this feature seems to be of no use without the display of property values.

Hope this helps.

I am using TopCased 5.1 and would like to know how to add a property
or property value to a Deployment Specification as shown in the UML
2.4.1 Superstructure specification.
