Hi,

TOPCASED simulation/model animation toolset relies on model interpretation. The 
metamodel is extended in order to represent the dynamic semantics related 
information (states of the model, and events driving the simulation). The 
current implementation of the dynamic semantics interpreter relies on a simple 
Discrete Event System model of computation. An execution function must be 
provided for each kind of event. This function is currently written in 
SmartQVT, but could be written in Kermeta or Java. You should have a look at 
the TOPCASED simulation sources in order to have more details.
