Is it possible to define the length of a property in a class diagram using primitive types? I need a class diagram representing an entity relationship diagram. Some examples: DESCRIPTION_FIELD String <<primitive Type>> à DESCRIPTION_FIELD String (X) NUMERIC_FIELD Double <<primitive Type>> à NUMERIC_FIELD Integer (Y,Z) Primitive types can be created with the length implied by the name (for example a primitive type String50 another String10, etc), but I need variable length for each property. What I need is to create a single primitive type with variable length (X, Y, Z). Using stereotypes it is possible, but I would like to know if it can be done directly with primitive types.
