Even if this mailing list is not dedicated to UML usage and UML questions, I
wonder how to create a sort of context diagram in UML ?
This diagram should give a system overview in a single schema. In the figure
"the Taxinomy of structure and behavior diagram", there is no context diagram.
One solution is to draw a use case with name the systme name and actors around
this use case, and links between the use case and the actors. Links names are
actors actions or use cases.
Another solution is to use a communication diagram, with an object, its name
being the system name and actors around this object. Messages between actors
and system give an overview of system features.
But is there an "official" solution ?
