Thank you so much for your answer, Arnaud. I suspect that that level of programming is not possible directly into a Gendoc template. However, it is possible to ask Gendoc to load a bundle containing Java code that, in turn, implements new functions. Those functions may be then called from within the template. I guess this is the right way to do the trick. What I mean is implementing the approach you suggested within a a Java bundle with the specific Acceleo interface (as specified in the Gendoc2 Developer Tutorial). If I'm not wrong, similar bundles have already been implemented for Topcased , GMF, Papyrus. To be honest, I have no idea of the effort and knowledge required for doing that, but I'll investigate a bit in that direction. Obviously, if anybody has suggestions, they are welcome! Francesco |
