Hello Jean-Marc, The actual model of the behaviour is the Interaction element and contained elements. The diagrams are graphical presentations of this model.
So what you want to achieve is actually to copy the initial Interaction element, and all of its contents. You can have several Sequence diagrams for a single Interaction, so that you can present different "phases" of the interactionon different diagrams. (allowing control of complex interactions).
