When you say "it was not like that before", what do you mean by "before"?
Also, I wonder if you're experiencing any censorship that is preventing
your Tor from reaching many of the relays directly?
Why do you use a bridge? Perhaps your bridge became really slow?
Also, exactly which vidalia bundle is "the latest one"?
