#32105: [email protected] don't respond ------------------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: mh828 | Owner: (none) Type: defect | Status: new Priority: Medium | Milestone: Component: Circumvention/BridgeDB | Version: Severity: Normal | Resolution: Keywords: | Actual Points: Parent ID: | Points: Reviewer: | Sponsor: ------------------------------------+------------------------
Comment (by arma): One possibility is to point out that [email protected] is actually a different mailserver, with different antispam rules, than [email protected] which is where the mail (hopefully) ultimately ends up. That's the conflict between giving users an easier-to-use email address, vs getting mail reliably to the host running the bridgedb service. For gmail mails, it shouldn't be a difference. But it is one variable to look at. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/32105#comment:2> Tor Bug Tracker & Wiki <https://trac.torproject.org/> The Tor Project: anonymity online
