Hey, I meant to update this ticket months ago and totally forgot - turns
out that actually the bug seemed to go away when I restarted the core Tor
daemon. Interestingly apparently while this was happening the network did
not recognize my relay as a relay (according to Tor Metrics/ExoneraTor,
can't remember which I checked - and confirmed by the amount of traffic
after Tor was restarted). I might consider backing out this patch since
the bug seems to be in Tor core and not Nyx, and the patch IIRC didn't
actually fix anything for me.
