False alarm!
I did mean conn-bi-direct lines, but I must have looked at the wrong `grep
| wc -l` result when giving the 79,709 number. I was certain that the
number was correct, but turns out I was wrong.
I just ran another check for descriptors published in 2020 to be sure it
was not a temporary thing when I looked a few days ago. Here are the
stats-end times for conn-bi-direct lines contained in extra-info
descriptors from 2020:

All is good, the code does what it's supposed to do! I'm really sorry for
