#9721: blog aggregator for Tor project members & friends? -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Reporter: erinn | Owner: ahf Type: task | Status: | assigned Priority: Very Low | Milestone: Component: Internal Services/Tor Sysadmin Team | Version: Severity: Normal | Resolution: Keywords: | Actual Points: Parent ID: | Points: Reviewer: | Sponsor: -------------------------------------------------+------------------------- Changes (by anarcat):
* priority: Medium => Very Low Comment: with everything that's going on right now, i don't think this should be a priority. but maybe you could run the aggregator as a cronjob or systemd.timer on one of the static sources and from there just sync to the static mirror network? would that be enough? i also note that all "planet" aggregators are more or less unmaintained. i did a review of those to see how to get out of the mess Planet Debian is in, here: https://wiki.debian.org/PlanetDebian#Venus_problems it seems the only one that's still maintained is the "pluto" one written in Ruby. But that's not packaged in Debian so you'd somehow need to deploy it by hand, which will be problematic. so i would push back on this gently, if i may, until we can get our heads out of the water. in the meantime, let me know if a static site would work for you. -- Ticket URL: <https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/9721#comment:7> Tor Bug Tracker & Wiki <https://trac.torproject.org/> The Tor Project: anonymity online
